Mamert MABONEZA
19xx - 2006
Mamert served as an Administrative Officer for the Lake Tanganyika Biodiversity Project, arduously supervising the Burundi and DR Congo field stations during years of civil strife.
Prior to working with LTBP, Mamert served in an administrative capacity with the FAO/FINNIDA Lake Tanganyika Research Project from 1993 - 1996.
Mamert was an amazing individual and co-worker, able to make the seemingly 'impossible' happen. He will be sorely missed by his friends, co-workers and by the development community for which he dedicated much of his life.
