1.) Read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sheet for any of our field stations:

2.) If you plan to travel to the region repeatedly, we now suggest you bring 6-10 extra passport photos and leave several with the BJM and DSM offices to facilitate obtaining future visas and letters of participation. [see #4 below]

3.) Are you travelling to Bujumbura? If so, you must i.) Read the Security Guidelines
ii.) Fill out a Visa de Sécurité form and send it to Kelly West one week prior to your visit.
4.) Are you travelling to Tanzania? If so, you must i.) read new visa regulations and complete form, if applicable to your situation*

*Please post to DSM Office at least 2 weeks prior to your intended arrival.
5.) If you will require resources (money, ticket bookings, vehicles, etc.) from any field station, you will need to
i.) fill out this request form and
ii.) send it to the SLO and appropriate field station(s)14 days before your visit.
6.) The latest regional and international plane, train, and boat schedules are available.
7.) After your visit, you may wish to be reimbursed for expenses, if so.... i.) Fill out a claim form
